When Monarch purchased this land in 1989 we used what was then an innovative integrated approach to subdivision design.
Monarch constructed large 1,000m2 lots for traditional large housing; medium sized 600-700m2 lots for more affordable housing; and small 250-300m2 lots for singles, first home buyers, retirees, ‘empty nesters’ and also for the investment rental market.
Monarch also built, or allowed for, playing fields, cycleways, church, school, kindergarten and shops so that the estate will be totally self sufficient. This introduced a pride of ownership rarely seen in the outer Sydney suburbs and at the time, the Estate became the true Garden Estate of the South West.
